TAPESTRY “CITY”
2020, cotton, wool (hand dyeing), hand weaving, 100x100 cm
Urban space is often the focus of concern.
As a contrast to this, the tapestry “City” woven by the artist evokes pleasant and warm emotions. This is a city-house woven from childhood memories. Very friendly, cozy and calm.

In the 3D Editor installation, the artist brought the virtual world into the material one. She conditionally depicted the dark endless space of the editor using the volume of textiles.
The installation is interactive. The viewer can experience interacting with the work by touch, or by playing with light from a flashlight or flash. Volumetric parts - villi and original materials of reflective fabric, which ensures the quality of light.
